Erica studied languages as well as business administration in high school, because just learning languages seemed less practical to her than adding financial statements and accounting. She studied English, French and German, followed by Spanish. Then she studies law, and with only two exams to finish, she realised that she wanted to join the family business, FIMIC Srl, to put her learning into practice.
Erica joined the company in 2011, just after graduation, when the company had only two employees. There was no sales department, and the company was known almost only in northern Italy. After 2 years of training, from the warehouse to accounting, she started travelling and organising trade fairs. Her record: 110 flights in one year, which enabled her to make her company known all over the world.
Erica is now CEO of FIMIC and works to ensure a positive working environment for her more than 50 employees. She’s a volunteer of the Italian Junior Achievement organisation, a member of the European recyclers association in the communication taskforce, the founder of AreyouR, and a supporter of Women in Plastics.
